Over several years, several building defects have occurred causing the EC to engage an appropriate consulting engineer and contractor to carry out remedial work to stabilise the structural integrity of the building. These included failed waterproofing membranes, corrosion to the structural steel and lifting of the tiles and noncompliant balustrades to balconies.
LEVEL 1 was engaged to carry out large scale remediation work to 55 units of the development. New waterproofing membrane, New Tiles and New balustrade were installed in large scale to the complex.
Engaging LEVEL 1 for extensive repairs, including fitting new waterproofing membranes, replacing old and installing new pedestal tiles, and new balustrades on selected balconies. Effective Fix: Installation of new waterproofing membrane was able to permanently stop water infiltration, protecting the building from further damage. This ensured the building’s stability over time, giving the client peace of mind. Overall, the decision to enlist LEVEL 1 Group for these repairs was able to yield positive outcomes, including resolving issues, enhancing aesthetics, increasing property value, improving safety, and ensuring long-term durability and cost-effectiveness.
