Following a consultation with a consulting engineer and the Executive Committee, a tender was issued to address several structural problems in a multi-unit complex. Issues included leaking waterproofing, rusty steel, loose tiles, and poor roof water runoff causing water ingress. These defects threatened the stability and safety of the building, necessitating comprehensive repair work.
LEVEL1 was commissioned to perform extensive remediation across the development. The project scope included installing new sheet waterproofing membranes, pedestal tiles, balustrades, and conducting roof remediation. Each component was meticulously planned and executed to meet high standards and address the building’s specific issues.
The remediation by LEVEL1 encompassed 70 units, addressing all balconies, planter boxes, the podium, and structural steel. New installations of waterproofing membranes, tiles, balustrades, steel cover plates, beams, and substantial roof and hydraulic repairs were completed. These enhancements resolved the building’s immediate issues, significantly improving safety, functionality, and aesthetic value, and providing long-term protection and stability.
